SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A dead male gray whale was discovered in San Francisco Bay on Friday. This marks the fifth dead whale reported in local waters this year, following four reports in March. Officials said the whale was in an inaccessible location, and no necropsy will be performed. "The new whale was a male sighted off Cavallo Point on Friday, April 3, when initial samples were taken via research vessel," said TMMC in a social media post.
