CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a deadly shooting in northwest Charlotte. It happened around nine AM on Florentine Way. Officers say they were called to the area over a burglary. When they got to the scene, they found a man shot dead. Neighbors say they’re sur prised to see that kind of violence in what they say is normally a quiet neighborhood. Neighbor Steve Mechanic says, “It seems like it was an isolated incident. It’s a pretty safe neighborhood.
