Carrollton asks voters to approve $235 million bond proposal in May

The city of Carrollton is asking voters to approve a $235 million bond package in May to fund improvements for public facilities, infrastructure and more.
The bond proposal includes five propositions, A-E. Each proposition has a different budget and targets different areas of need throughout Carr
ollton. Voters can approve or disapprove of any or all of the propositions.
Carrollton Proposition A:
Total: $164,500,000
Renovations of alleys, sidewalks, bridges, intersections
Improvements for traffic and safety infrastructure
Participation in joint projects with federal, state and local public entities and agencies
Computerized signalization and monitoring equipment
Buying land and rights-of-way for road projects
Carrollton Proposition B:
Total: $32,345,000
Improvements for public safety facilities
Carrollton Proposition C:
Total: $26,530,000
Improvements for parks and recreational facilities
Carrollton Proposition D:
Total: $7,850,000
Improvements for municipal court facilities
Carrollton Proposition E:
Total: $3,775,000
Improvements for library facilities
