Building heat for Wednesday
Apr 01, 2026
As we head into the middle of the week, this warm stretch really starts to peak. By Wednesday, highs will climb into the mid-80s,with more of a early-summer feel than spring. The first half of the day looks great with plenty of sunshine.
As we move into the afternoon, things turn a bit
more active. After about 3 p.m., we’ll be watching for a few showers and thunderstorms to develop. It’s not going to be a washout, but some neighborhoods could see rain especially right around the evening commute.
Heading toward the end of the work week, we don’t completely lose that unsettled pattern. A stray shower or storm is still possible at times, but it won’t be an all-day rain situation. Temperatures stay well above average, keeping that warm, summer-like feel in place as we close out the week.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday is shaping up beautifully. Expect dry weather with highs in the low 80s.
Easter Sunday brings a bit more uncertainty. Clouds will be on the increase, and we’re tracking a passing front that could bring showers and a few thunderstorms. Right now, the timing looks to lean later in the day, which may allow for some dry time earlier on. Since it’s still on the back end of the forecast I’ll keep you posted!
