A man was shot and killed steps from Central Park late Tuesday, prompting a flurry of law enforcement activity as police canvassed the Harlem neighborhood where it happened. Someone called 911 just before 10:30 p.m. to report a shooting on West 110th Street, by the north end of the park. Respondi ng officers found a 36-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his body and arm. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but didn’t survive his injuries. The man’s name has not been released, nor has any other information on the circumstances. The shooter is still on the loose.
