An Upstate New York man faces eight criminal charges after allegedly trying to obtain a mail-in ballot for the 2024 fall election in the name of a deceased person.Kevin Sweet, 42, of Hudson, was arraigned last week on a sealed indictment alleging he submitted a fraudulent absentee ballot application in October 2024.
