INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A male critically injured in a shooting early Monday morning has died from his injuries, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reports. The initial incident happened in the 4300 block of Kingsley Drive, near Ralston Avenue north of the Indiana State Fairgrou nds, just after 4 a.m. When police officers arrived, they found the victim suffering a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but later died. He has not been identified, and it was not clear if he was an adult or a juvenile. IMPD says a person of interest has been detained, but there have not been any arrests. This is an isolated incident, IMPD says.
