SEPTA shuttles riders after trolley derails in Overbrook

SEPTA riders along the T1 trolley line were delayed and rerouted to shuttle buses on Sunday morning after a trolley detailed in the Overbook section of West Philly, officials said.
According to SEPTA, around 7 a.m., the trolley derailed near the intersection of 63rd Street and Lansdowne Avenue.

No one was hurt in this derailment, officials said.
At about 9 a.m., as crews continued to work on the trolly, SEPTA said shuttle buses were being used between 52nd Street and Lansdowne Avenue and 63rd Street and Malvern Avenue.
Officials said the trolley will be rerailed and taken to the shop for maintenance and the trolley line will reopen after that is done.
An investigation into this incident, officials said, is ongoing.
