A letter writer is somewhat misinformed when comparing Real ID with the Republican SAVE America voting requirements (“Dem hypocrisy over voting regulations,” Star-Advertiser, March 22). The Real ID program was a bipartisan measure passed into law in 2005 in the aftermath of 9/11.
