Bridge deck pothole repairs planned March 30 – April 2  LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures next week on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County for routine pothole repairs on bridge decks. Work is scheduled daily from Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. Work will take place at different locations along New Circle Road, with lane closures shifting each day as crews move between bridge locations. Daily work locations include: Monday, March 30 – mile point 17 (Chinoe Road overpass), westbound inner loop Tuesday, March 31 – mile point 18 (Lansdowne Drive overpass), westbound inner loop Wednesday, April 1 – mile point 4 (Versailles Road overpass), westbound inner loop Thursday, April 2 – mile point 3 (Parkers Mill Road overpass), eastbound outer loop One lane will remain open at all times; however, motorists should expect delays. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone. All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
