TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Nighttime Lane Closures Scheduled on I75 in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled nighttime lane closures on Interstate 75 in Fayette County for panel sign installation.
Work will take place on I-75 southbound between mile points 118 and
119 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning Monday, March 30 through Wednesday, April 1.
Crews will perform overhead panel sign replacement near the Northern Split. Double lane closures will be in place during work hours.
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
