A few showers may linger early, mainly before mid morning, then clouds slowly break enough to let the day recover some. Highs top out in the upper 40s, and a north northeast wind around 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph keeps the air feeling cooler than yesterday’s taste of spring. It is not a bad day once the early wet weather gets out of the way, just one where the jacket earns its keep again.  TONIGHT Skies continue to clear and the night settles down nicely. Lows dip to around 30, with a north northwest breeze around 5 to 10 mph easing later. After the active weather and the cooler day, this is a simple reset night with dry roads and a cleaner, calmer feel across central Indiana.  TOMORROW Sunshine takes over and the forecast gets a lot easier to like. Highs reach around 50 with a light wind that starts variable and turns southerly late. It is still a little cool by true spring standards, but with bright skies and very little wind, Saturday feels comfortable and easy to work with from start to finish.  TOMORROW NIGHT The quiet pattern holds and temperatures only slip into the upper 30s. A light south breeze around 5 mph keeps the night from turning chilly in any serious way. This is one of those evenings where you can already feel the warmer pattern trying to take over.  SUNDAY Clouds increase some, but the day still trends milder and pretty pleasant overall. Highs climb into the low 60s, and a south southwest wind around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph adds a little extra push to the warmup. It is a good looking end to the weekend, and even with more clouds around, the feel is much softer than what we get today.  SUNDAY NIGHT Mild air keeps building with mostly cloudy skies and lows only falling into the low 50s. It stays dry for most of the night, and the bigger story is just how little chill there is in the air compared to the last several nights.  MONDAY The warmest day in this stretch arrives with a mix of clouds and some sun. Highs surge into the low 70s, and a southwest wind around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph gives the afternoon a springlike feel. There is a small chance for a shower or thunderstorm, but much of the day still looks very usable. If you have outdoor plans, Monday is the kind of day that makes people forget how recently it was cold.  MONDAY NIGHT Clouds thicken more and a better chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives late, mainly after midnight. It is a mild, breezy night with a more active feel returning as we head deeper into next week.  7 DAY OUTLOOK After the cooler reset today, the weekend settles into a nice warming trend with sunshine Saturday, low 60s by Sunday, and low 70s by Monday. The broader pattern stays much warmer than normal into next week, with 70s likely continuing Tuesday and even Wednesday before a more organized rain chance and a slightly cooler turn begin to show up later in the week.
