Still looking to secure tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup?
FIFA on Wednesday unveiled the date for the fourth and final ticket-phase process for the quadrennial tournament.
Dubbed the “Last-Minute Sales Phase,” fans will soon have a more straightforward route to purchasing tickets for th
e action.
The fourth phase follows the “Random Selection Draw” period that ended in mid-January, with FIFA saying shortly after it has already received north of 500 million ticket requests.

When does the Last-Minute Sales Phase start?
The fourth and final phase to secure World Cup tickets will start on Wednesday, April 1 at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.
When does the Last-Minute Sales Phase end?
The phase will run until the end of the tournament in July.
What is the availability for the Last-Minute Sales Phase?
Ticket options will be at a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability. They will also be released on a rolling basis. Fans will be able to pick specific seats instead of needing to wait to see the result of their application.
Also on April 1, ticket holders who have bought tickets in previous phases can see the seats that have been allocated to them through their FIFA account.
Are there any other ways to secure World Cup tickets?
On Thursday, April 2, FIFA will will reopen the official Resale/Exchange Marketplace for eligible ticket holders. It will enable fans who can no longer attend games to safely reallocate their tickets to another fan. That will be available to do on FIFA.com/tickets.
An additional option are the ticket-inclusive hospitality packages that can be viewed at FIFA.com/hospitality for a more premium matchday experience.
When does the 2026 World Cup start?
The tournament gets underway on Thursday, June 11 and will feature 48 nations playing games across three countries.
