Two people died in separate shootings in San Francisco Tuesday night, according to police. The shootings, one in the Sunnydale neighborhood and the other in the Sunset District, happened within minutes of each other, according to police. The Sunnydale shooting was reported at 10:43 p.m. on the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue. Officers responded and found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries there, police said. The victim’s name was not immediately available, and police did not announce an arrest or share any details about the suspected shooter as of Wednesday morning. Around 10:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Santiago Street and 22nd Avenue in the Sunset District. A man, who was not immediately identified, allegedly shot a woman, killing her. Nearby residents looked on from a distance as their usually quiet neighborhood was flooded with numerous police cars and fire trucks.
