(KRON) -- More than $6,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Lululemon store in Berkeley last week, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday. On March 11, four suspects stole clothing from the store on Fourth Street and escaped before authorities arrived. Lululemon security c ameras captured that the suspects were driving a black Nissan SUV (pictured below). According to the sheriff's office, Flock cameras spotted the vehicle "a few hours later" in Castro Valley, and deputies were alerted. Around 9 p.m., authorities stopped the Nissan near Grove Way and Oak Street in Hayward, the sheriff's office said. A suspect was then taken into custody for grand theft, burglary and conspiracy. The Lululemon store in Berkeley has been hit by theft before in the past, including last fall and in 2023.
