GASTONIA, N.C. – Police are investigating after a fire was started inside a bathroom at a high school in Gastonia. It happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ashbrook High School. Police said it started inside a girl’s bathroom and that all students were evacuated outside. The fire was contained an d quickly extinguished before causing extensive damage.
