INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Drivers who work, live, or play in downtown Indianapolis will need to add extra time to their next trip due to road closures ahead of the NCAA Men’s Final Four. The Final Four isn’t until next weekend, but crews are already making changes to downtown traffic flow. Additional closures will occur over the next few days. These closures will remain in effect through Thursday, April 9. The following closures start on Wednesday: North Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Michigan Street partial closure from Meridian to Pennsylvania; curb lane + 1 driving lane Meridian Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane Pennsylvania Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane The following closures take effect on Friday: North Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Michigan Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Meridian Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane Pennsylvania Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane The following closures start on Saturday: St. Clair closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania North Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Michigan Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Meridian Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane Pennsylvania Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane The following closures start on Sunday: St. Clair Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania North Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Michigan Street closed from Meridian to Pennsylvania Meridian Street closed from St. Clair to Michigan Pennsylvania Street partial closure from St. Clair to Michigan; curb lane + 1 driving lane Official event map for the 2026 Men’s Final Four.
