SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– A Sumter school was placed on a brief lockdown after police say a man was found injured this morning in the area. Sumter Police say around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, a man was found injured in the Wise Drive area. Out of an abundance of caution, Wilson Hall was pla ced on lockdown for a short time. The lockdown has since been lifted after officers determined there was no threat to the public, according to Sumter PD. The circumstances and nature of the man’s injuries are under investigation.
