SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A 3.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the East Bay just after midnight Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 2.4 miles southeast of San Ramon. The quake along the Calaveras Fault occurred at 12:31 a.m., USGS said. People reported feeling the shaking in the San Ramon Valley north to Concord and south to Fremont, with some reports between San Francisco and Oakland, according to USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” survey.
