Tarrant County is changing the look of jury summons to make the process faster and easier for residents. Starting March 24, 2026, jury summons will be sent as a postcard. Each postcard will include a QR code that directs recipients to Juror Access, the county’s updated online portal for managin g jury service. County officials say the change is part of a broader effort to modernize the jury system and improve communication with prospective jurors. Along with the new postcard format, Tarrant County is launching updated Jury Management Software, the first major upgrade in nearly two decades. The online portal will provide real-time updates about jury status, typically available the same day or by the next business day. Officials say people who are unable to respond online can still report in person at the date and time listed on their summons. While the format is changing, the county says one thing remains the same: jury summons will continue to be delivered by mail. ...read more read less
