On Monday, Lincoln Police public information manager E rika Thomas told reporters that LPD and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to a home near 10th and Benton last Thursday morning about a fire.  Callers indicated that Sang Huynh was pouring gasoline on some playground equipment in the backyard of his home, saying he was going to burn it down, before he lit it on fire.  He had left the backyard before police showed up. Thomas says Huynh was ultimately arrested and put in the Lancaster County Jail for 3rd-degree assault on an officer, resisting arrest and violation of an open burn ban.   ...read more read less
