COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– State Rep. Jermaine Johnson has officially put his hat in the ring for the governor’s race. Johnson made the official announcement about filing on Facebook on Monday, March 23, 2026. He says his campaign is not about the political power structure or multi-millionaire pow er brokers. “This is a grassroots movement and we need you,” says Johnson.
