In 2018, under the leadership of Democrats, citizens of all 50 states were required to renew their driver’s licenses or state identification cards in compliance with the Department of Homeland Security policies. To do this, citizens had to appear in person, provide original or certified documents such as a birth certificate or a valid U.S. passport, a Social Security card, a marriage certificate or court order and your current driver’s license.
