A man was arrested in connection with a homicide investigation in Lafayette Saturday, according to authorities. The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said Lafayette police officers responded to a home on Westminster Place at around 11:35 a.m. Officers entered the home and found a man dead , according to authorities. Sheriff’s officials reported that David Prince, 35, who was walking nearby, was detained for further investigation in connection with the homicide and was later arrested. Although an arrest has been made, the sheriff’s office said this investigation is ongoing.
