SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Fire Department responded Saturday at 6:17 p.m. to the intersection of Mission and College streets to assist Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PGE) with a possible gas leak. When fire crews arrived, they worked with San Francisco police to control traffic s o they could conduct emergency protocols, according to SFFD. "During the incident, SFFD personnel located a person requiring emergency medical assistance," SFFD said. "Emergency medical care was started immediately.  Despite the life-saving efforts of emergency responders, the person was declared deceased at the scene." Foul play is not believed to be involved.
