(KRON) -- A suspect faces several charges after he allegedly stole a work truck in San Jose Saturday morning. The San Jose Police Department said GPS technology helped in making the arrest. Officers responded to the report of a stolen vehicle and were able to locate the truck at a San Jose residenc e after using GPS information from the victim's coworker, according to SJPD. Photo courtesy of SJPD. "The coworker saw tools being unloaded from the truck and carried inside, giving officers the information needed to quickly confirm the location," San Jose police said. Police also said a probation search at the residence led to the recovery of the truck, stolen tools and equipment, which were returned to the owner. The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was taken into custody and booked for felony vehicle theft, felony possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, and a probation violation. ...read more read less
