MONROE, N.C. – Monroe Police say a juvenile is now in custody after a disturbing burglary case on Cotton Street. Investigators say the suspect broke into an apartment late Wednesday night, entered through a window, and tried to remove a woman’s clothing while she was asleep. She woke up and s creamed, and the suspect ran off. Detectives tracked down the suspect through evidence and tips, but due to the suspect’s age, police will not release their name.
