Foster City leaders and cyber security experts are dealing with a ransomware attack that has shut down many city services.
At City Hall on Friday, there was an eerie quiet with almost all employees working from home and many customer services shut down due to the ransomware attack detected early

Police emergency lines were down for a time on Thursday but were quickly restored.
