RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police reportedly seized more than $22 million worth of drugs during investigations from March 11 through March 17, in coordination with other agencies. From Wednesday, March 11, through Tuesday, March 17, Virginia State Police seized more than $22.4 million w orth of drugs in coordination with State Police task forces, federal task forces and other agencies. Officials said this included the following: 23.2 pounds of cocaine 364.1 pounds of marijuana 1.1 ounces of fentanyl 641.2 pounds of THC edibles 967.8 pounds of psilocybin 6.7 ounces of "designer drugs" PREVIOUS: Nearly $670K worth of illegal drugs seized by VSP in one week Police also reportedly recovered a total of 11 firearms, worth a total of about $5,500. ...read more read less
