(KRON) -- The Counter Custom Burgers in San Jose has been forced to cease operations immediately after a public health inspection discovered a vermin infestation throughout the restaurant. The Counter must remain closed until it fixes all the issues noted by the County of Santa Clara Department of E nvironmental Health Consumer Protection Division. The restaurant is located on 3055 Olin Avenue on Santana Row. Dead roaches were located within the bar area and "on top of trays within the refrigeration prep tables." The inspector said that they spotted live vermin within the restaurant. Photo: KRON4 News.
