(KRON) -- The suspect in a homicide that took place in a Santa Rosa mobile home Wednesday night was found hiding in a water tanker truck, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff. Deputies responded at around 9:38 p.m. to the 5000 block of Taylor Avenue to investigate a reported homicide. Police arres t felon after wrong-way chase on East Bay highway Inside a mobile home at the scene, deputies found a woman with severe injuries. Witnesses told deputies that a suspect covered in blood fled the residence shortly after the incident. The female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies established a perimeter around the property and searched the area. They found the suspect hiding inside a water tanker truck. He was taken into custody without incident.
