LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 19, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repairs on Interstate 64 in Fayette, Scott and Woodford counties. Overnight rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will
be utilized beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, and continuing through 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 25. Temporary traffic delays are possible during operations. Motorists are advised to watch for signage and personnel in the area.
Interstate 64 – Eastbound and Westbound
Eastbound
Operations will begin at the Franklin/Woodford County line (milepoint 59.4) and proceed toward the I-75/I-64 Northern Split in Fayette County (milepoint 74.2).
Westbound
Once work on the eastbound lanes is complete, operations will begin at the I-75/I-64 Northern Split in Fayette County (milepoint 74.2) and proceed back toward the Franklin/Woodford County line (milepoint 59.4).
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
