(KRON) -- Crews responded to a gas leak in Santa Clara in the area of Lafayette Street and Walsh Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The leak was deemed safe by PGE by 5 a.m. Thursday. Northbound lanes of Lafayette Street are set to reopen by 6 a.m. Thursday, with southbound lanes remaining under traffic c ontrol until repairs are complete.
