Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand opening store in Walnut Creek
Mar 18, 2026
(KRON) -- A Kim Kardashian-founded apparel brand is coming to downtown Walnut Creek. "SKIMS" finalized a lease late last year and will open a store at Broadway Plaza, the shopping center confirmed to KRON4.
Skims will be located across from Nordstrom and will take over the combined space that was
previously occupied by Janie Jack and Makers Market, along with a small part of the Louis Vuitton store that closed last year.
There is no set opening date for the store. However, according to a Broadway Plaza spokesperson, they anticipate Skims to open in the late summer.

It was not made clear how long Skims' lease is with Broadway Plaza.
Previous tenant Louis Vuitton, which Skims is taking over a part of, only lasted about a year and a half. The luxury designer store opened in the summer of 2023 but closed in January 2025.
Skims, founded in 2019 by the socialite, has opened a handful of stores across the United States, primarily in major metro areas. The Walnut Creek store would mark Skims' second brick-and-mortar in the Bay Area, joining Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto.
Skims markets itself as a premium brand and is only available at retailers like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale's.
KRON4 reached out to Skims representatives for comment on the Walnut Creek opening. We did not hear back in time for publication.
