That’s still good news for both hungry casuals looking for a co nvenient neighborhood slice and pizza purists who seek out specialty pies made to exacting specifications. Wood-charred or gas-fired, New Haven or Neapolitan, Old Portland or pan-Asian, if you want cheese on sauce on bread (and not always in that order), the Portland pizza scene’s got it covered.
