Police are investigating, officials said, after a multi-vehicle crash sent a van into the wall of a bank in Abington on Wednesday morning. As captured by NBC10’s SkyForce10 at about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, a van could be seen resting against the wall of a Wells Fargo branch near the intersection of Old York and Susquehanna roads in Abington. Near that crash, another vehicle that was showing significant signs of damage, was resting in the intersection, as well. In a brief update on Wednesday morning, police said three vehicles were involved in the crash and one person involved suffered minor injuries. Officials said that police did not believe the crash caused damage to the bank. During the morning, Susquehanna Road at Old York Road was closed to cross traffic in both directions and Old York Road was restricted to one northbound lane only. Officials said that these closures were expected to remain in place for several hours. Drivers who need to move through that area were being advised to find alternate routes on Wednesday morning.
