2 wounded in northeast side shooting INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An overnight shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis sent two people to the hospital, police said. Around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of two people shot at an apartment complex in the 4500 block of Flats Way. That’s a residential area near the intersection of 46th Street and Keystone Avenue. Officers arrived and found one victim. That person was taken to Eskenazi Health. A short time later, officers learned that another person was dropped off at IU Health Methodist Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. Investigators did not give a condition for either victim and have not said what may have led to the gunfire.
