The search continues for a missing man in a lake just outside of Bowie. Authorities are continuing their search for a missing man at Amon G. Carter Lake after three swimmers were reported in distress Sunday afternoon, according to Bowie city officials. The Bowie Police Department received a ca ll around 1 p.m. reporting that swimmers were missing near the point at Selma Park. Local first responders, including Montague County crews and Texas game wardens, responded to the scene. City officials said local boaters were able to rescue two juvenile swimmers. An adult male who was with them has not been found. Search efforts on the water were halted around 4 p.m. Sunday due to high winds, but law enforcement continued patrolling the shoreline and surrounding areas.
