It may be mid-March, but the Bay Area is in for summer-like heat this week. High temperatures in the 80s along the coast and upper 80s to mid-90s inland prompted the National Weather Service to issue a heat advisory for the entire Bay Area beginning at 10 a.m. Monday and continuing all the way un til 8 p.m. on Friday. The weather service is reminding the public to drink plenty of water, wear light clothing and take frequent breaks when working outside during the early season heat wave. ⚠️ Heat Advisory in effect through 8 PM PDT Friday for the Bay Area and Central Coast.🌡️ Highs in the 80s along the coast and upper 80s to mid 90s inland.Stay hydrated, take breaks, and seek shade if outdoors.
