On Monday at 1:57 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from 8 p.m. until Tuesday 8 p.m. for Jefferson and Lewis counties.The weather service says to be ready for, "Total snow accumulations 6 to 10 inches in the most persistent lake snows.
