INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Colts signed safety Jonathan Owens to a one-year contract, according to multiple reports. Owens is married to Simone Biles, one of the greatest Olympic gymnasts of all time. She has seven gold medals and 11 total medals across three Olympic Games. Owens is a se ven year NFL veteran, most recently playing with the Chicago Bears. He played in all 17 games in 2025, recording 19 tackles. Owens has played in all 17 games in each of the past four seasons. His best statistical season came in 2022, where he racked up 125 tackles with the Houston Texans. Owens played with the Texans from 2019-2022, with the Green Bay Packers in 2023, and with the Bears from 2024-2025. Owens’ signing comes after former Colts safety Nick Cross signed with the Washington Commanders on Wednesday.
