On Friday at 1:18 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter storm warning in effect until Saturday at 2 p.m. for Oneida County.“Snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches expected across Northern Oneida county. In the western portion of the Northern Oneida forecast zone, south of Camden, 2 to 5 inches of snow is expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow,” adds the weather service. “There will be a sharp gradient of snow accumulation from south to north. Areas around Rome will see 1 to to 3 inches, while areas along the border of the county could see as much as 12 inches of snow.” ...read more read less
