On Friday at 1:07 p.m. a wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Saturday between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Onondaga, Madison, Oneida, Cortland, Chenango, Otsego, Tioga, Broome, Delaware and Sullivan counties.“West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected,” st ates the weather service. “Strong westerly winds will develop late tonight behind a strong cold front pushing through the region.
