SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Police released body camera videos from officers who scoured a San Francisco neighborhood searching for a boy who wandered away from home last November. The San Francisco Police Department Officer Kevin Clifford, who lives in the same Forest Hill neighborhood, was off-duty w hen he jumped into action. Clifford joined the search as fellow officers canvassed the area, mobilized neighbors, deployed drones, and rapidly reviewed home surveillance cameras to track the boy's path. Six hours passed as the 10-year-old boy's whereabouts remained unknown. An SFPD drone shows a neighborhood where a boy went missing in November 2025. Cameras revealed that the child wandered along sidewalks northbound before he disappeared into Edgehill Mountain Park. The youngster was wearing red plaid pajamas. Clifford started hiking through the park and spotted the boy hiding alone behind a large rock. Officers helped the boy walk up a steep hillside before reuniting him with his family.
