(KRON) -- Authorities in the East Bay are investigating a homicide after a man and a woman were found stabbed at a Bay Point home on Wednesday, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office. The woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The sheriff’s offi ce responded at 4:27 p.m. to the home in the 100 block of Riverside Place for a medical call requesting police. The man who was stabbed was rushed to a local hospital. No further details were immediately available. No suspects were identified, and no arrests have been announced in the case. The fatal stabbing remains under investigation.
