Red light camera pilot program issues nearly 2,000 tickets in San Jose

More than 1,800 tickets have been issued in less than two months after red light cameras were activated at four intersections in San Jose.
The cameras are part of a pilot program to improve safety in areas known for fatal and serious injury crashes.
A ticket from a red light camera can cost up
to $486.
