RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- In less than 60 days, riders with the Virginia Capitol Trail Foundation will roll into the 21st Cap2Cap, which kicks off Saturday. On Wednesday, March 11, the Virginia Capitol Trail Foundation announced that the first Cap2Cap Group Ride of the season will take place from 9:3 0 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 14, starting at the Richbrau Brewing. The foundation's trail ambassador, Ben Ash, is leading the ride. According to the foundation, the ride will be a 20-mile out-and-back, no-drop ride with multiple regrouping spots, including a quick stop at Great Shiplock Park to scoop up more riders, and a snack break halfway to recharge for the return.
