Olympian Alysa Liu to perform in Bay Area this spring

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- In just two months, the Bay Area’s own Olympic figure skating champion, Alysa Liu, is coming home to perform as the headliner on the 2026 Stars on Ice tour.
Liu, who took home two gold medals from the Winter Olympics in Milan, will be backed by two-time Olympic gold medali
st pair Madison Chock and Evan Bates, and Olympic gold medalist Ilia Malinin, the self-proclaimed “Quad God,” when the tour stops at the SAP Center in San Jose on May 17.

Other skaters announced include duos Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea, and Emily Chan and Spencer Howe, along with Amber Glenn, Isabeau Levito, Jason Brown, and Andrew Torgashev.
The 2026 Stars on Ice tour kicks off April 16 in Fort Myers, Florida, with scheduled shows across America running through May 31, ending in Southaven, Mississippi. More information can be found on the Stars on Ice website.
Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu spotted at Target in East Bay
Happening this week, Liu will be honored during a free event in Oakland on Thursday. She is the first U.S. woman to win an Olympic gold medal in figure skating in 24 years.
“Alysa Liu is Oakland – her drive, her brilliance, her joy,” said Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee while announcing the rally. “Watching her claim gold for our city and our country filled every Oaklander with pride, and we are overjoyed to welcome her home.”
