A woman was slashed multiple times in what appeared to be a dispute over territory between two Central Park food vendors, according two law enforcement sources. The fight broke out around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 63rd Street and Center Drive, law enforcement sources said. Responding offic ers found a 24-year-old woman at the scene who had been cut several times. The victim was taken to NY Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Hospital, where she was expected to recover, according to sources. The suspect had not been caught and was last seen running toward Heckscher Park with two other people, a law enforcement source told NBC New York. It appeared that the suspect and victim have known each other, stemming back to an incident in December between the two.
