INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Colts are trading wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers, per a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This move comes after the Colts gave Alec Pierce the largest free agent wide receiver contract in NFL history. Pittman posted to X (formerly Twitter) a fter the trade: “BLACK AND GOLD!!!!!!” Pittman had been with the Colts for all six years of his career. He had 80 catches for 784 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025, the fewest yards he had in a season since his rookie year in 2020. However, it was a career-high in touchdowns. The Colts selected Pittman in the second round (No. 34 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. Trading Pittman got the Colts $24 million in cap space.
